Terms of use for online courses

For individuals:

By registering for and completing payment of a course or course package, you agree that:

  • all course content including video files, PDFs and any additional material is the property of Dance in Mind and cannot be shared, copied or reproduced without explicit written consent from Imogen Aujla

  • the course is for private use only

  • you understand that there are no guarantees for the outcome of a course or course package. The information in the course is a starting point and successful development requires your time, commitment and practice
     

Courses and course packages are non-refundable.

 

For organisations:

Pricing plans for organisations include but are not limited to schools, further education colleges, higher education institutes, independent dance studios, and conservatoires. By registering for and successfully completing payment of a course or course package, you agree that:

  • all course content including video files, PDFs and any additional material is the property of Dance in Mind. While course materials can be shared with all students registered to your organisation, they cannot be shared, copied or reproduced outside of your organisation without explicit written consent from Imogen Aujla.

  • you understand that there are no guarantees for the outcome of a course or course package. The information in the course is a starting point and successful development requires time, commitment and practice from students registered to your organisation
     

Courses and course packages are non-refundable.

 

Privacy Policy

Please be assured that all verbal and written information exchanged within coaching or research mentoring contexts is completely confidential. The following privacy policy relates to online data only.

Dance in Mind adheres to the code of ethics and conduct of the Institute of Counselling within coaching contexts. 

 

What information do we collect?

Dance in Mind only collects the personal information you voluntarily provide when registering for coaching, mentoring or courses, which may include your email address, first and last name, date of birth, address, and telephone number. This information is used to process transactions, send newsletters, and improve the service provided on the website. When you provide us with personal information, it implies that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only. Your information will be shared with trusted third parties who operate the website and financial transactions (Wix and Wix Payments). These trusted third parties agree to keep this information confidential. Your personal information will never be shared with unrelated third parties. Dance in Mind also automatically receives your computer's internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.

If Dance in Mind asks for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no. If after you opt-in, you change your mind, you may withdraw your consent for us to contact you, for the continued collection, use or disclosure of your information, at any time, via the Contact page.

 

Payment:

If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Wix Payments stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.

All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

In accordance with GDPR you have the right to:

  • Request access to your data

  • Request restrictions on the processing of your data

  • Request personal information held about you is deleted

  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority that has jurisdiction over issues related to the General Data Protection Regulation.

Dance in Mind uses Google Analytics to analyse the use of this website. Google Analytics generates statistical and other information about website use by means of cookies, which are stored on users’ computers. The information generated relating to Dance in Mind is used to create reports about the use of the website which Google stores. We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.
