Work-life balance has always been a hot topic but the pandemic has thrown it sharply into focus. The course includes short webinar-style videos and accompanying worksheets to help you put what you learn in the videos into practice.

The course comprises 4 videos with over 50 minutes of content introducing you to the theoretical foundations of work-life balance and evidence-based strategies and ideas. There are 4 worksheets (totalling 11 pages) which can you edit or print and complete again and again. Topics covered in the course include:

  • Re-thinking leisure time

  • Setting boundaries

  • Recognising symptoms of burnout and creating a burnout action plan

This course works brilliantly as a stand-alone, but was designed to complement the other Professionals Courses on Stress SOS and Cultivating Optimism to Enhance Wellbeing. In fact, I designed the Professionals Courses based on my own experiences: chronic work stress affected my work-life balance and, over time, turned me into a pessimist when I had always been an optimist.
